Faith is not just a part of what we do, it's a part of who we are. A relationship with Jesus Christ is something real. You've probably heard Christians say, "Jesus is a real thing in my life," or "My relationship with God makes a real difference." Is it true? Can you believe it and does it matter?
YES! Jesus is ready to make a difference in your life!
This area of the site is a collection of information about Jesus Christ, and how faith can impact you in the real world, everyday. Check back here often as we will constantly be adding content.
In a world where standards are constantly sinking to a lower low,
we at FBC Maumelle are committed to holding to the truth and standards of the
Bible, God's Holy Word.

Go Deeper
Most of us have seen the Olympics on television. Cheering fans fill the stadium
as athletes, dressed in colors representing their countries, toe the line for
the start of the race. What would happen if the starting gun fired and all the
runners bolted in different directions? How would any of them know who had won?
How could they measure their performances? Just as lanes mark the path for a
runner so the Bible guides us through the race of life.
The Bible is foundational to all we do. The Bible is the unchanging Word of God that transforms lives and cultures, not the other way around.
At FBCM we also want to know the course for our lives and our church. To make an impact upon our community for Christ is what we are all about. Each member continually giving themselves to Bible study, worship and prayer is a must. Also, we participate together in interesting ministry events to involve ourselves in our community. These events allow us to move from the place of worship to the place of ministry. We then are given the possibility to share Christ and hopefully see people’s lives changed. Blessings to each of you.

Pastor's Paragraph
"Who
Are Southern Baptist"
Since its organization in 1845 in
Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown to over 16
million members who worship in more than 42,000 churches in the U.S. Southern
Baptist sponsor about 5,000 home missionaries serving the U.S., Canada, Guam and
the Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153
nations of the world.
The term
“Southern Baptist Convention” refers to both the denomination and its annual
meeting. Working through 1,200 local associations and 41 state conventions and
fellowships, Southern Baptist share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and
a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.
You become a Southern Baptist by uniting with a SBC
church, one in friendly cooperation with the general Southern Baptist enterprise
of reaching the world for Christ. Typically church membership is a matter of
accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord and experiencing believer’s baptism by
immersion.
